L-Accountant General iħabbar il-ħruġ ta’ €150,000,000 Stock tal-Gvern ta’ Malta soġġett għal dritt li jiżdied l-ammont li għandu jinġabar sa massimu ta’ €100,000,000 oħra kif ġej:
 
(i) 0.50% Stock tal-Gvern ta’ Malta 2023 (IV); u
(ii) 0.80% Stock tal-Gvern ta’ Malta 2027 (III); u
(iii) 1.00% Stock tal-Gvern ta’ Malta 2031 (II) Fungibility Issue (F.I.); jew
(iv) f’ammonti mit-tliet Stocks b’valur nominali flimkien ta’ €150,000,000.
 
L-applikazzjonijiet magħmulin f’offerti b’irkant għal minimu ta’ €500,000 u multipli ta’ €100,000 kull waħda jiftħu l-Erbgħa 8 ta’ Lulju 2020 fit-8.30 a.m. u jagħlqu f’nofsinhar (CET) tal-istess jum jew aktar kmieni fid-diskrezzjoni tal-Accountant General.
 
L-offerti fuq il-formoli preskritti għandhom jintbagħtu permezz ta’ e-mail fl-indirizzi indikati fuq il-formola tal-applikazzjoni jew fuq fax +356 2596 7210 jew jintefgħu fil-kaxxa tal-offerti tat-Teżor, il-Furjana.
Ir-riżultat tal-allokazzjoni ta’ kull Stock jiġi mgħarraf sagħtejn wara immedjatament il-ħin tal-għeluq tal-offerti b’irkant.
 
Il-formoli tal-applikazzjoni jistgħu jinkisbu mingħand il-membri kollha tal-Borża ta’ Malta u Provdituri oħra awtorizzati ta’ Servizzi ta’ Investiment jew jistgħu jitniżżlu wkoll minn fuq is-sit elettroniku tat-Teżor.
 
L-Accountant General se jħabbar linji gwida indikattivi dwar l-ipprezzar permezz ta’ stqarrija għall-istampa li tiġi ppubblikata nhar it-Tlieta is-7 ta’ Lulju 2020 li tkun tikkonsisti minn spread indikattiva fuq ir-rati tal-euro mid-swap relevanti li jirriflettu b’mod wiesa’ l-kondizzjonijiet fis-suq sekondarju taż-0.50% Stock tal-Gvern ta’ Malta 2023 (IV), taż-0.80% Stock tal-Gvern ta’ Malta 2027 (III) u tal-1.00% Stock tal-Gvern ta’ Malta 2031 (II).
 
Aktar tagħrif dwar dawn l-iStocks jinsab fiċ-Ċirkolari tal-Offerta li flimkien mal-Prospett Ġenerali u r-Regolamenti dwar Stocks tal-Gvern ta’ Malta jistgħu jitniżżlu minn fuq is-sit elettroniku tat-Teżor www.treasury.gov.mt.

New Issue of Fixed Rate Malta Government Stock by Auction – July 2020
 
The Accountant General announces the issue of €150,000,000 Malta Government Stock subject to an over-allotment option of an additional amount up to a maximum of €100,000,000 as follows:
 
(i) 0.50% Malta Government Stock 2023 (IV); and
(ii) 0.80% Malta Government Stock 2027 (III); and
(iii) 1.00% Malta Government Stock 2031 (II) Fungibility Issue (F.I.); or
(iv) any combination of the above three Stocks which shall in the aggregate be €150,000,000.
           
Applications in the form of sealed bids (auction) for a minimum of €500,000 and multiples of €100,000 each open on Wednesday 8th July 2020 at 8.30 a.m. and close at noon (CET) of the same day or earlier at the discretion of the Accountant General.
 
Bids on the prescribed forms are to be transmitted by e-mail at the e-mail addresses indicated on the application form, or by fax on +356 2596 7210, or deposited in the Treasury’s tender box in Floriana.
The allotment results of each Stock will be determined and announced two hours immediately after the closing time of the auction.
 
The application forms may be obtained from all members of the Malta Stock Exchange and other authorised Investment Service Providers or downloaded from the Treasury’s website.
 
The Accountant General will announce indicative pricing guidelines through a press release to be published on Tuesday 7th July 2020 consisting of an indicative spread over the corresponding euro mid-swap rates, broadly reflecting the secondary market conditions with respect to the 0.50% Malta Government Stock 2023 (IV), 0.80% Malta Government Stock 2027 (III) and the 1.00% Malta Government Stock 2031 (II).
